Grow a Garden 2 launched June 12, 2026 as a separate Roblox experience from the original Grow a Garden (which GGGuides covers on its own page). It pulled in 400,000+ concurrent players within 20 minutes of release, riding the original's huge existing fanbase into a redesigned circular map with day/night raiding.

Coverage stance: Code pages use dated source checks and expiry warnings. Developer identity for this title is debated across outlets — most coverage ties it to Splitting Point Studios via the "Strawberreh Squad" Roblox group, but this is not universally confirmed, so we don't state it as settled fact.

What's New vs. the Original

The sequel swaps the original's shop-row layout for a circular map with one central hub. A day/night cycle adds a raiding mechanic — at night, other players can steal crops from your garden unless you've built defenses, and guilds compete for weekly rewards. Pets now spawn randomly around the map instead of hatching from shop eggs, and a new "mushroom gear" system adds consumable temporary buffs on top of the returning weather/mutation system (rain and thunderstorms still boost growth and crop value).
