Saros True Ending Guide — Secret Good Ending
Saros has two endings. The true ending requires a specific choice during the final boss fight on your second run.

The Critical Choice: Spare the King
After reducing the King's HP to zero, he staggers. Do NOT press R1 to execute. Instead, walk through the portal behind him (hold Triangle).
This unlocks the secret ending where Arjun breaks the cycle.
Step-by-Step
Complete Your First Run
Beat all biomes, defeat the King (standard ending), roll credits. This unlocks the true ending path.
Start a New Run
Permanent upgrades carry over. Play through all biomes again — no special requirements in earlier biomes.
Reach the King in Yellow Shore
Same fight as first run. Same attacks, same phases. Only the ending choice differs.
Fight the King to Zero HP
He becomes staggered and vulnerable. An execution prompt (R1) appears — this is the standard ending trigger.
Step 5: Spare Him
- Do NOT press R1 — that's the standard ending
- Walk through the portal behind him — hold Triangle
